Nothing wrong with spacers and blocks on a prerunner. Putting them on a TRD OR 4X4 is a waste of a good truck.
Nah, I meant on the trailer. Or are you just planning on camping at the nearest KOA?

Hey everyone, selling off all my Tacoma stuff. Some of y'all may remember i posted some stuff for sell, last minute, the day before trading in my truck. I've finally got some time to put most of the stuff together that I have and list it for sale. I'm going to start here locally, then eventually Ill post it in the Texas and 2nd gen threads. but for now, just want to see if i can stick to local.
I traded in my truck a few months ago and I was able to pull some stuff off before handing it in. I’m also getting rid of all other parts I’ve had in the garage for a while now. Everything that was mounted on the truck was pulled off Late-October2017

If I do not reply to your PM, try sending me an email at etorres0788@yahoo.com

06-11 Tacoma Grill w/lettering. Made by ECG Fabrication - $300
I bought this grille brand new in May 2107 for $465 not including shipping. It was on my truck for 6 months. Other than that, it has been in a box. It is a little dirty, I did not wash my truck before pulling it off. In near perfect condition

    Grill.jpg grill2.jpg

Custom Subwoofer Box w/2-10in Kicker comp subs AND 5-channel Amplifier (DOUBLE CAB). $600
I purchased all of this equipment and had it installed in July 2017. The amp is a Alpine PDX-V9, still goes for around $400 online new. I spent $500 for them to build the box, very well put together, does not require a mounting bolt like the ********* boxes however, for the “clean install” look. They did trim the original plastic panel that goes behind the seat (see pic for reference).

    Subs_Amp.jpg AmpSub2.jpg AmpSub4.jpg AmpSub5.jpg AmpSub7.jpg

    Tacoma Cooling Panel - $80
I do not have the hardware that originally came with this. I lost the two, little panel clips that were provided a long time ago, never had any issues with it moving around.

    cooling panel.jpg

Center console and Glove Box organizer- $10
Not separating, $10 total for both

    Organizers.jpg

    Bed Cleats (4) - $40
    They work

    Cleats.jpg

Retrofit headlights - $300 (message me if interested, not a high priority for me to get these pics right now, unless someone is seriously interested)
I’ll be completely honest here, I don’t remember a whole lot about these as far as the specific type of projector/shrouds used. I had someone on TW build these for me, I’ve tried to go back through my messages and find the info but I can’t seem to locate it. Ill provide as much info as I can.
Currently, I do not have a working set of HID’s to mount in them, or anyway to plug them in since I do not have the truck. So I can not show the halos, demon eyes, parking lights, etc. But everything does work as long as you wire it up correctly. This is why I’m pricing them at what I think is low. Considering I spent around $700 total to get these put together. But that was almost 3 years ago now.
    Some Details:
    Aftermarket housings
They do fog up after rain/wash
Black paint is rubbing off in some spots (not major, I’ll take pics)
White Halos are mounted behind the shrouds
They have red devil eyes (very weak though)

Additional stuff that I have, BUT I still need to take pictures.

Tri-fold bed cover (Hard)- $100 Not brand new by any means, 1 broken clip, a few dings. No mounting hardware, will clamp straight to your bed rails

Tri-fold bed cover (Soft) - $100 Good condition. No mounting hardware, will clamp straight to your bed rails

What ohms are the subwoofers? Kicker lists the CompRT as either DVC 1ohm or 2ohm.

I'll have to pull one of them out and check. I'll get that info later on tonight when I get back home.

Going to check transmission fluid level tomorrow. Alot of people on here said their transmissions were low from factory. Purchased 2qts just in case.

Picked up some grease as well, same reason. People on here said they were dry from factory. Sure enough, took 10 pumps to fill both ujoints on driveshaft.

3rd Gen 4x4 have 5 zerk fittings up to June 2016. June 2016 (guestimate) and later have 2 zerk fittings located on only the front driveshaft.

Gear oil to change out front and rear differentials. Still need to pick up another 2 bottles, stores were low on inventory.

Poking around this wimpy driveshaft makes me miss my carbon fiber driveshaft on my M3.

My 09 prerunner came with sealed u joints, but i replaced them with greasable zerks. On the other hand, my dads 2014 prerunner came with greasable u joints. from what i understand, prerunners are hit and miss as far as having zerks on the ujoints, but you can always put the greasable units in them. Theyll last much longer if you grease them up at every oil change. I got tired of my truck eating them every 50-75k miles

Coming up on 20k in 9 months. I like to do vehicle maintenance before the service manual calls for it. Plan is for front/rear diff at 20k and transfer and transmission at 30k. I change oil/filter/tire rotation every 5k with first oil change done at 1k. Probably overkill but I enjoy doing it and adds peace of mind.
