Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone else with a v6 6 speed has been having issues with the a/c kicking on and off, and when at idle intermittent stalling when a/c cycles on?

First week or so of use of the a/c since I bought it. It gets COLD, but when at idle and the a/c cycles on, it really kicks the idle down and studders pretty bad. It has stalled twice at idle on me. Swung by the dealer, they knew all about it and said it was a tsb. Bringing it in tomorrow for an “update”.

Anyone have the issue or the fix?

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
Get the TSB # from them and post it up, could be useful information to have.

So they had the truck from 9-4 today, couldn’t get it to duplicate so they did nothing. Only reason I scheduled it in today was because they seemed to know all about it, and then today it’s a different story.

Oh well, not a big deal. Figured that would have gone better. Used to vw/audi, won’t do anything if they can’t duplicate and if they can well that’s normal, it’s your fault, or oh I didn’t seem to notice.

Video it. If they tell u to buzz off because they can’t recreate it, at least u have evidence and can raise hell. I hate dealerships and their lack of help for good customers. Don’t get discouraged and keep worrying them especially if u can video the issues. If they won’t help maybe u can talk to the dealership owner or call corporate and file a complaint. Too many dealerships just push us to the side when we have real issues. Sorry for your issues man. Hopefully they get resolved.

Not a huge deal. Seams like it comes and goes. Sometimes a/c cycles on and off and no effect, other times you can almost tell when it’s going to happen, the truck torques back and forth every time and it gets harsher and harsher.

I wil try to get it on video. Not end of world. Engine won’t blow up or anything. Was curious if anyone else had the same.

Your A/C compressor is putting too much load on the motor. Serpentine or bearing issue I wonder?
