Starting out stock, for now ...
Count me in for one of them, I had to switch into 4x4 last night in the dark and that was a pain, order placed today!

Which ones do you have left? I bought the stock amber and after installing, it doesn't match. For whatever reason, even though the lettering on my hvac controls is amber, the lighting for the knobs is white. Looks like Im going to need to order the stock amber with white arrow for it to match. 20180116_210134.jpg btw...Great product! Ive come across some Tacoma guys wanting this light mod.

Never seen the switch with a round knob, that is a new one for me.

Yeah. A cool little feature. Saw them on a forum somewhere. Might have been here. Anyways.. You can get them in black or silver. Amazon search for "Tacoma hvac knobs" will find them. I pulled one off to check after I did the install last night and it is white that lights up the ring. I'm going to have to order the stock amber with white arrow to get the same look.

Very nice kit...it came well packaged and was really easy to install. That said, I'll make it even easier.

There is no need to make a splice for powering the module. As the attached picture below shows, I just shoved the wire (something that can be done because it is a stiff solid conductor wire) into the back of the appropriate connector. It's tight, but that's what makes this work so well.

To prevent it from being pulled out the next time you remove the AC control panel, wrap the two wires around the AC control panel harness a few times and tape over the wrapped section before you insert the wires as shown. I personally never use electric tape because I hate dealing with the sticky residue later, so I used self fusing silicon tape.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Hello Ladies & Gentlemen,
It has been great building these for the last 8 years for this group. By the emails I have been getting since I announced them sold out it looks as though there is still interest in this product which kinda surprises me.

Here is what it will take for them to return for one more go round.
    • Someone, (not me) needs to start a group buy thread. This person that maintains this thread will get there unit for free for doing the leg work.
    • This person will get 20 people not including themselves to be willing to prepay for there order.
    • Once all have paid I will re-order the printed circuit boards and parts and we will start this all over again.
    Cheers,
    Shannon
