I recently purchased and installed this air flow system. It replaces the factory intake and air filters housing. Wasn’t that difficult to install, just taking a few parts out of the way. While I had it out it’s a good time to clean out the throttle body. What a difference this new air filter system makes. I got a little more horsepower and my fuel mileage is going up too. I included photos below of the air filter system!!!!

I’m in the process of testing the fuel miles now. I’m going to report that back so you can pet ya snake if you wanna.

take a look at the TRD CAI. its feed brings in cold air from the wheel well. that one above takes air exclusively from the bay which will tend to be less cool, or hot during the summer. but yours will probably produce more intake sound from that design, while being less efficient even than the factory model, which also brings in half its air from the wheel well.

personally I'm not one who moans & bitches about these, because as a MT driver i need good noise to help guide my shifting, and these do enhance the sound. but that's all i get it for, maybe a tick more throttle response when your stars align.

I'm not sure but Google can help.

also the feed for your stock box is the same as the TRD. the TRD has a different inlet tube, but it pulls from the same place: passenger side wheel well. that's where it gets cool non-bay air. you'll notice the stock inlet tube is divided in two pathways, but the TRD isn't divided but pulls 100% from outside the bay through the fender. take a look at your stock box for reference.
