Are CAI worth it over OEM ? Power and filtering pros and cons

There's so much more to his story than a "dusted engine" from a "janky aFe filter".

Toyota took care of him when he toasted his first engine. But when you come back looking for a 3rd engine in 55k miles....red flags abound.

Engine bay full of mud. Pix of his rig on an outcropping in the middle of a lake or pond. Video of him climbing up on his topper while the truck was moving.

Negligent owner + an aftermarket filter = no 3rd engine for you.

 

If you want a CAI and warranty coverage. Get the TRD intake kit. Problem solved.
