Can my 2nd gen long bed Tacoma fit on a car trailer from Penske/uhaul?

Looking to haul it behind the 26 ft truck from ND to CO. Let me know your thoughts if its possible. I also have 285s on my truck so I don't know if it affects tying it down

UPDATED :Just for future reference for people looking at this thread later. My buddy actually rented one cause he was moving. I did put my truck on the trailer and it did not fit. The rear tires was close to making it on the trailer but it didn't, cannot speak on Penske or older model uhaul care haulers

Just drive down to a Uhaul or Penske with your truck.

Yeah they already said it won't fit any full size trucks

Tacoma is far from "fullsize". If you go down to uhaul or penske and they have a trailer there you could just drive it up onto the trailer. That is if the tires clear....that's the only spot I can think of that would keep you off of the deck.

Yeah you might have a different type of uhaul or Penske possibly alot bigger. I went to both of them last week and there's no way to test it out beside measuring. I know the wheel base would fit but I hear it's just inches and the body hangs off

Do they not give you the dimensions of the trailer? That's be the first thing I'd want to know. Why guess?

I have the dimensions and they won't let me just try it out on one of their trailers I have to rent it for the day to see if it'll fit and for them to even let me rent it I have to say it's for like a Camry

Uhaul has 2 different versions. I got the biggest one when I moved from MD to MT. it barely fit and the back tires were hanging off a little. I have a short bed so no way a long bed will fit.

Yeah haha it was free tickets! Why not!?! Lol there's not much to do in Minot so we try and get out alot. I didn't drive the taco there tho cause I get 12 mpg and that's to much gas.

That's the main reason why I'm trying to trailer it to Colorado so I don't have to drive that gasaholic

Damn that's quite a drive lol. Yeah I completely understand. On 35s 12mpg is rare and only happens on a good day lol

Are you trying to do a full DITY? That's what i did. You can try throwing it on a dolly and take the rear driveshaft out.

I made big bucks but lost it all when mass leveling caused housing to be a 4 month wait. I live out of a hotel for a month and half and decided to buy. :spending:
