I'm a little late to the party but @aero3685 is right. You can go to countless places with a prerunner in Utah. So much so that I don't think it's possible to drive on all of the dirt roads in that state. There are just tons of places to explore there. I have spent most of my time in the eastern side of the state in and around Moab.

I went to warner valley once but was more for dirt biking than anything. would love to go back to that area and surrounding areas and explore, camp and drive those roads!

    Utah's High Desert.......
    Vehicle:
    2003 Lexus LX 470

Cathedral Valley.....north of Capitol Reef.....1000 Lake Mtn (Fish Lake Forest)

Temple Mountain area south of I 70 exit #131...Goblin Valley west of Hwy 24

Exit #131 I 70 ..turn north...will also take you into the Swell...Wedge etc

Plenty of area to get lost in...literally.......but always carry the gear you'll need

cell coverage can be spotty....as mentioned...some roads can become impassable

during Aug/Sept thunderstorms...some roads are actually steam beds and can fill

up with water fast...or be impassable from previous storms....many of these areas

have S&R's conducted during peak times.....many will turn into recovery only..

You could spend time also along the Burr Trail between Boulder & Notum
