Today the color matched TRIM on my grill fell off.. on the freeway. Literally barely saved it before it flew away. It broke.

    Insane. Toyota. Sigh

I just had my Cooper S/T Maxx 255/80/17's put on some Black Iron brand aluminum rims. The guy at the shop said they were no problem at all to balance.

    http://www.blackironwheels.ca/Styles/Rebel/Matte-Black

Now I need to get some lug nuts that work with the rims, since I bought the rims used and they did not come with any lugs.

I think these will do what I need, there is not many threads showing so these are supposed to work.

Installed some TRD pro style headlights I found on CL. They are the china knock-off variety, so praying they hold up. Fit and finish weren't perfect, but I was able to get them in and looking good with a little work. I installed some new bulbs while I was at it.

I bet they will hold-up better than my custom retrofits.

Damn dude! That sucks. I've pretty much decided to stay OEM on mine for the time being. At least until some more people try out those $250 ones off Ebay.

Got my Fuel Vapors installed Friday, so I was finally able to drive my new truck. Swapped out the radio knobs with some Hondo Octopus ones. Got my LED interior kit and new A/C knobs coming in today.

No pics yet, been rainy as hell down here. Soon though...

Little help. Bad memory. Want to do a fender cut. Someone here linked a product to finish the edge with trim. No taping or gluing necessary. Had a bead in it that held the trim to fender. Anyone remember what that was? Thought I had saved the link, but no joy.

I would only always reccomend doing retrofits with the OEM set. Most vendors cut corners and use the knock offs.

Thanks, Tom. I know how to use google. And used it before asking. And searched this site. I was looking for a specific type recommended here. Haven't found it, yet.
