While not recommended, I know that many use your springs with 5100s. Can you tell me which spring you'd recommend for getting 2" with a 5100 and stock bumper on a Double Cab 4x4? I'm spring shopping now, and would like an Eibach option.

We would recommend sticking with the Eibach coil spring we are show casing in this post. These springs are designed specifically for the 3rd gen Tacoma's without giving to much lift or bad ride quality.

    Thanks!

For people with heavier bumpers, we recommend going with an adjustable coilover setup to insure proper stance the first time without having to continually swap coil springs.

Another great option is the OME setup with the heavier coil spring rates too, we would just have to figure out a rough weight that you are carrying on the front of your Tacoma, shoot us a call anytime and our sales team will gladly be able to help you out!

    Thanks

I'm assuming this is 2" of lift with a stock bumper and no added weight?

EDIT: just saw your last post

Exactly what I needed. I've already got a set of 5100 shocks and an add a leaf squirreled away and just need to add springs and install. So the springs you have here on the bottom clip of the 5100s should be what I need for ~2"? Thanks!

If you have the the 3rd gen specific 5100's (Part Number:24-263108-P) Then all you would need is the new coil springs.

Depending on how much lift you have, we do recommend the BOSS rear shocks which will have closer valving compared to the Bilsteins.

    Thanks!

If it’s a new product and designed for the third gen 2016 and up why does it have settings and clips that we can’t use? It has three settings but we can only use one? Seems like another universal product design for the first and second gen. Nothing new here, as there are plenty of first gen shocks that we can use but not put them on the higher settings. If it’s valved and made specifically for the 2016 and up 3rd gen , I ask again why would they put clips and settings that you cannot use and that are not recommended. It makes no sense

Because you can buy the shocks by themselves and use the factory springs?

As @hookembevo stated the shocks can be purchased by themselves and used with factory coil springs or with the new Eibach coil spring, the reason we do not recommend adjusting the clip up any higher than the bottom clip setting with the new spring, is because it will over extend the shock body, giving that a higher possibly of compromising the coilover, along with pre-loading the spring more than designed can yield in to much lift and bad ride quality.
Both the Bilstein 5100 series shock ( Part number: 24-263108-P) and the Eibach shock ( Part number: E60-82-069-01-10-P ) are both designed specifically for the 3rd gen Tacoma application only.

    Thanks

UCA's are always a good recommendation to insure proper alignment spec the first time without any issues.
Shoot me a pm and we can chat some more about some different options we have.

The spring rate on these coil springs are 742lb springs.

Honestly, yes sounds like a HEAVY spring, but these paired up with the Eibach shocks, it responds perfectly, gives the proper amount of lift, and great ride quality overall.

    Thanks
