Looking for roof racks

I’m sure it’s been a post before but I just signed up and am looking for some advice. I just bought a 2018 trd crew and want to do a roof rack on cab and topper to haul canoe and other stuff. What’s a decent option under 1500 bucks for both.

OnHartung’sRoad do you have one or have had one? I seen a guy posted last summer the guy that was building them wasn’t being so up and up.

I recieved mine just a couple weeks after I ordered and it was just as advertised. They are great. The original designer contracted CBI to sell them so turn around is much faster. Heres mine:

I have two 18-foot double Folbots (folding canvas hulled sea kayaks) that we put on top for local transportation when we dont want to pack them up, especially if wet as we just let them dry up there on the drive home. I also put an RTT on mine when we are wet season camping, and it can more than handle that extra weight.

If your shell or cab rack is even with the cab roof, Prinsu has a rear rack that matches up with the cab rack so you could easily put your boats and gear across the entire thing.

 

Those are pretty sweet. I like the cab rack. I will have to see if he makes one to go on an ARE topper.

I want to see someone buy the ARB roof rack rails and make something custom that mounts to it. They cost like $169.

Most companies charge out the ass for their mounting side rails or won't sell them at all separate.

Rhino rack has their head up their ass with ~$500 just for the mounting rails.
