    Hafa adai Guam Tacos!

I came around this thread many months back when the husband was potentially taking a job there. That didn’t pan out (but we did move from Yosemite NP to Zion NP!)

Since researching Guam for a potential move, I’m now fascinated with your island and surrounding islands

It’s now high on my bucket list to visit. Is there an off-season for tourism? I’d prefer not to be there during the busiest times...

Also looking for a list of must-see-do-eat at places. Would love to sample local flavor (vs chain food I can get anywhere mainland.)

Thanks bunches and can’t wait to visit!!

@vrod671 probably has more knowledge on when the on/off season is for tourism. But for sure if you make it out here, check out the Wednesday night market in Hågatña( Chamorro Village ) local chow that won't disappoint

It's pretty steady as far as tourist coming and going throughout the year. February is the coolest month temp wise with lowest humidity, so you may want to keep that in mind. Tons of places to eat with a whole bunch of flavors from all over the world, killer local and Asian food especially. Guam is small, but there is so much to do here. Swimming, hiking, off roading, partying...Let us know when you plan on making your way out here.

I discovered theres SO much to do there when we had the potential to move out there. Since the move isn't happening, Guam is now real high on my must-visit list!!

We're lucky and can fly Space A cheap right into Anderson right from Travis in CA.

    Whats the rainy/monsoon season?

    Very nice!

Rainy season varies, but is usually July through April, and could also go longer. Dec, Jan, Feb would be ideal for a trip.

I just got back from guam yesterday and can attest that the Wednesday night market has some pretty amazing food at cheap prices! I hit all three of the BBQ vendors and was not disappointed. I'd have to say that the small shops i hit on the side of the roads for the Korean and filipino food were my favorite!!

Still trying to recover from my flight back, but I will say that I am coming back next year!!! :D
