If anyone has had this issue please let me know what helped. I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 and for the past year been having problems with the truck not starting, sputtering, stalling, fumes dumping into the cab. Been to a dozen or so places and nobody seems to be able to figure this out. 1st I'd always get codes that cylinders 1 and 3 misfire, changed coil packs and would get a few miles down the road and check e light back on. I'd go back and get same codes but, packs still good. Vacuum hose test done, no leakage, fuel pump good, etc... make a long story short everything checked out. Went to a Toyota service center and I get different codes that banks 1/2 running to lean, I'm told it's the ECM. I go and buy one but, went to a different Toyota location closer to me for the service and as I figured they would they went all CSI on my truck and come back with it's the fuel pump. How does 2 Toyota service locations with same equipment have seperate results. Fuel pump was already ruled. Now when it's cold out truck doesn't bog out it's giving most problems in heat. Thoughts?

When is the last time you changed the spark plugs? Are they gapped properly? What about fuel filter? Possibly maybe the throttle body needs a cleaning aswell

Plugs changed last maybe 6 months ago, yes gapped proper. I cleaned throttle body and fule injection which was the 1st Toyota service centers recommendation and if that didn't do the trick it had to be the ECM.
