I bought some eagle eyes awhile back and tried to install them today. Got the grill off. Side markers. unbolted the lights but they won't come out. Can't tell if that small fill please is preventing the light from coming out or what. I read a step by step on here awhile back but damned if I can' find it now. any help is appreciated.

The metal piece below the light covers up the last bolt holding the light housing on. Remove it and you'll need an extension as the bolt is recessed back in the hole.

    Good luck.

Thanks. I could not figure out how to move that trim piece. Found a video on line that shows you slide it towards the radiator and it comes off. Semper fi.

Indeed. Forgot that part. The trim piece has various methods of attachment. Most of them were broken on mine. Currently trying to figure out the best way to secure them back in place.

Well I am right there with you now. Broke the lower clip that is attached to the filler plate below the headlight. The first pick is the clip that is attached to the fender. The second picture is the clip that I broke. A video I watched showed the guy sliding the filler plate towards the radiator and taking it out. The clip in the first picture prevents that. Also, the clip in picture 2 rests on the protrusion on the filler plate. However, you notice there is a tab that prevents it from sliding inward towards the radiator. These parts must have been broken on the video I looked at.

The clip in picture two was broken when I tried to pry it off. I thought the bolt on the end of the filler plate that attaches to the headlight in addition to the attachment to the fender would suffice to hold the light in. After getting everything out I realized that middle clip service a purpose in keeping the lower part of the light housing secure.

Does anyone know the part number for the clip in picture #2? Thanks

I provided the part number for the lower head light clip that holds in the filler plate. They are about $15 bucks a piece. I know why, there is no way you can get this small part off without breaking it. Didn't have time to get parts from Gunny. The other pic is a bag of grill clips from flea bay. The factory grill clips are slightly thicker. And the filler piece.
