Custom LED Map and Dome lights

Hey @mesojdm, will it be possible to get 1 EA white and 1EA red map lights when these become available? I guess I can order a set of each but just wondering about the feasibility on this.

Years ago I did this with a red over driver and a white over passenger. This was when I always drove alone and I wasn’t married yet. But I never had a vehicle that allowed me to keep the passenger light off when I opened the door so it always ended up white and red on at the same time unless I was driving. In my last cars I did red in the ceiling and white in vanity. That was I could get white if I needed it. I’m thinking about doing the same once the V2 red maps launch. What was your plan?

 

I was planning on red on the lady's side and white on my side for the maps. I was going to do the dome in ultimate white but leave it off unless I needed it. The red on the passenger map allows her to look for shit when she drops it or to read a map/book. Her eyesight is atrocious so she needs a light and likes to turn it on but anything white or bright blinds me (sensitive green eyes with sunlight damage from younger years).

I used to have all blue interior lights on the T4R but that got old real quick. I'm hoping the red doesn't annoy me too much but at least it would provide another level of comfort for her.

 

@mesojdm - Well, since we are all writing letters to Santa - I want all the bases covered so I am thinking something like this for the V3 mod.



Oh! or better yet! Multi-Colored lasers, with built in speakers and looped track of Boots-And-Pants-And-Boots-And-Pants playing on the stereo.

I actually though about a dual color with light sensor that can adjust according to the ambient light.... maybe down the road.

The red matches the Dome perfect


Another cool feature is since the LED's are recessed in "windows" there is not much glare looking in from the side of the truck, since the light is funneled downward

 

And I thought I was the Devil! This aint funny to keep me in suspense like this. I could explode ya know!

 

Looks great. I like it a lot. I want. Will the ultimate done light also be available soon, or the combo that you were running earlier?
