so my front bearing went out with 500 miles to go on the 67500 warranty, they fixed it,it "cost 750.
i had a forerunner that went 150k with no issues except a rotten frame. the only reason i sold it was to get the taco,
is this warranty worth it men?

there is a reason why they are wanting to sell you more warranty..... they make money on them.

Skip it, costs of repairs will likely not add up to the cost of the warranty and hassle that comes dealing with warranty claims.

Quite simply, if the projected cost of repairs over the life (in your hands) of the vehicle exceeds the cost of the Extended Warranty, then buy it. The chances of that happening are about zero.

And if it was the needle bearing they fixed, then you are good. Even if not, its not a hard repair with the new one or the bushing.

I'd agree with everyone else. Had extended warranties on other vehicles and I never got enough use out of it to warrant the purchase. I new better when buying the Tacoma not to even bother with extended warranty or prepaid maintenance.

Save the money you would have paid for the warranty for when or if you ever need too fix your truck.Better than giving the money too them for free if you never have too use the warranty

Most repairs on our trucks you can do yourself for much cheaper. That wheel bearing would be less than $400 and an hour of work.

This is what I was thinking too. Save a little money every week or two weeks or even every month to put in a savings account or investment account and it will earn interest...eventually if you need money for the repairs you can use the money saved. If you end up not needing repairs then you can use the money for mods, new tires, or whatever you want!

You always wish you had the warranty when you 'really' need it and wish you didn't get it when you don't! Pros/cons for both really.
