I had a set of Cooper Discover Discoverer S/T that were ok for about 15k then they got loud and were toast by 30K.

This was on a 3/4 ton Dodge 24v Cummins though.

Bought my wife a set of COOPER CS3 TOURING or maybe CS4 I dont' remember.
Same thing though 15k got loud and toast by 35k.

Set of all terrains on my old work truck were ok. But I left before I got too many miles on that truck.

In the past I might have done that with some firearms, maybe.

Turns out that the wife doesn’t care. She’s happy. I’m happy. And she spends a shit ton of cash on wine. So we’re even.

 

damn, these are my first set of Coopers. I have about 20k miles on them and they still have plenty of wear left. They've been great in sand, snow and mud. Oh and street, def good on street.

 

Like I said, I really want to like Cooper.

Might give them another shot with my Tacoma.

Bought Michelins for my wife though, those are nice tires but pricey.

 

Yeah, to be fair, my wife knows the cost on pretty much everything done. She may not remember detailed specs, but she at least knows what's being invested.
She's actually the one that talked me into pulling the trigger on sliders (still waiting for them to be ready).

When that exchange went down the wife asked why i was buying a new rack when that one was only like a year old. Told her I came across a killer deal on a new bigger stronger one for the same price I sold you that one for.
