I just went through a few pages and saw these,
So can we do end user tuning? Again sorry if all this was definitely answered. I'm slowly making my way through.

You do have a 4.0 right? He doesn't support the 3.4 if your user info is correct.

Edit: just saw your inquiry about the 1gr and a750f. Don't mind me.

No problem. One is a 99/3.4 the other is a 05/4.0

Yep, tried to load tonight and still no go.

I find it interesting that guys like Ed who easily had as many inquiries as I did on when the thing will actually work...now that his is working he is tired of hearing me asking...nice.

Also...I went back through all the pages of this novel, clear back to June of 2017. At NO point did I ever see a disclaimer that this product would take several months to get to the point of working, yet many on here claim we all knew that was the case...don't think so. Obviously we do now.
I also saw that lots of folks questioning why it was taking the time it did, beginning back in Nov. Still several of us don't have a working handheld tuner. Those that do and are happy campers, good for you. I think any of us that continue to ask about a timeframe to have the product up and working are within our right to do so without all the nonsense bs coming our way!!!!

    **SOLD**

    So..
    Sad news.
As of this afternoon, I’m selling my Taco, so I’ll be selling my unused tuner. I haven’t even plugged it into my truck.

I’ll sell it for the exact price I bought it for- which I can’t remember exactly, but I’ll check in the AM once I remember how I paid for it.. it was the early-buyer’s price.

    First come, first serve.

You sound pretty ungrateful. This isn't a muffler that someone forgot to ship. It's a cryptographically encrypted computer that no one in the last 13 years has been able to unlock. Until now.

If you rush him, maybe you will get a bunk tune that bricks your ECU. Now THAT would be ironic.

I really don't know what I can do next. I have explained the exact process and why it has taken this long (which was outside my control), I have offered to completely refund you..

I need a bigger truck, and could not find any Tundras that were in my price range, loaded how I want.
Picking up a used 2013 F150 Lariat Super crew 4x4, 3.5 Ecoboost, super low miles for a steal.
I had almost the exact same truck for 3 years as my last work truck, and I fcukin loved it.

Cool good luck with it. Are the eco boost reliable engines?

They had some issues from 2011-2012.. intercoolers collecting condensation, and premature timing chain stretch, but that was all fixed by 2013.
Other than that, they’re super built. 6 bolt mains on these things.
Guys are getting 400WHP/500WTQ with not much more than a tune.
    Pretty nuts.

They sure seem to be a strong point in Ford's lineup. That motors been around for 4-5yrs now. A coworker has the f150 2012/13 3.5 EB and raves about it towing 6000lbs+ no problem up a 12-14% mountain pass without skipping a beat at 60mph. Now they offer a 2.7EB so it must be working for them. :notsure:

Me personally I'd take the 5.0 over an EB.

The 5.0s are nice, but they’re not really “truck” motors. I had one in the work truck previous to my Ecoboost one. They sound great, and have good getup, but the low end torque is seriously lacking, especially compared to a 3.5. The torque curve is more for the mustang, than the f150.
Daily driver, and you don’t do much towing? Go for it. It’ll suit you well. If you’re towing on a regular basis/hauling heavy loads, then the 3.5 smokes it.
Almost identical trucks, same exact work loads, I was getting 14.9 MPGS with the 5.0, and 18.1 with the Ecoboost. Towing loaded work trailers, with loaded trucks.

To each their own, though. The 5.0 sounded sweeeeeet though. The 3.5 sounds dull. Like a minivan. My wife’s highlander sounds meaner LOL

Can we get a mod to ban this guy? All he has been is a burden while not providing one beneficial comment whatsoever. I really would like to read about the updates and progress and not about how some guy is unhappy that he cant win a bet with his son because he bought a product that's in Beta. @jberry813

Personally I'd refund his money and let him find a tune elsewhere.

You're doing what you can and he's just been filling this thread with crap.
