Yeah me too. I have 9 points for elk and 8 for antelope. I'm guaranteed some pretty good late rifle bull hunts but I haven't decided what to do. I'm at that point of maybe wanting to keep holding out for a really good archery tag.

Finally got the God awful noise from the UCA's taken care of. The washers were binding up against the bushings so badly they actually created a rubber "dust" that dumped out when I removed the washers. I cleaned them up and greased the shit out of them before putting it back together. Noise is completely gone!

Been a while since I've been on and posted anything. Took a quick drive to the Grand Falls a few days ago. Pretty cool place! I have this idea in my head to get a bunch of us Tacoma owners up there with a drone and take some sick pictures and videos. Anyone game?? @XPOTRPR @snowtank @mh.meier @2ndGenJonny rally the troops!?

It was rippin a few days ago but it's only going to be good for another few weeks during the mountain snow melt. It was pretty cool being able to literally park as close the edge as your nerves can handle. If i had a other truck with me to stand on top of to get elevated the pics would have been epic!!

Got my FREE awning installed yesterday. Thanks to the sweet group buy from @LikeABoss4x4. I rolled it out to make sure everything worked right. Seems well built and the canvas is thick. Next project is getting the onboard water system installed.

Finally got some time to get the onboard water system from @ProForce installed. Pretty simple install and the kit was well built. I've already got a couple ideas brewing about a permanent water tank in the stock spare tire location. It shouldn't be hard to do.
Anywho, here's a few pics. It works great. It's not a high pressure system by any means but it has plenty of pressure to shower, wash dishes, rinse gear etc.

Reverse light project complete! They follow the contour of the bumper so they face down a little too much but still throw off enough light to make a huge difference over stock. Someone here posted a pic a long time ago of a tapered spacer they made which allowed these lights to face directly back parallel to the ground but I can't find it.

    IMG_20170510_103510_872.jpg

Testing before the final wiring. I decided to wire straight to the existing reverse lights for now. Once my switch panel project is finished I'll give them their own switch.

Dang I've been gone from the forums so long I don't even have last year's Colorado adventure posted up yet.

I made my annual Fathers day trip last year and went a couple days early. I did a solo trip through Utah to hit Moab for the day, befire heading north and over into CO.

First stop was a cool place called Faux Falls.

    Ultimate_HDR_Camera_20170613_110442.jpg Ultimate_HDR_Camera_20170613_110530.jpg Ultimate_HDR_Camera_20170613_111610.jpg Ultimate_HDR_Camera_20170613_112436.jpg Ultimate_HDR_Camera_20170613_112722.jpg

I hit Moab the rest of the day, but never had a chance to take any pics. The popular trails were a zoo and I didn't plan very well as far as knowing what other trails I could do in the Tacoma without much recovery gear.

The next day I did a bunch of random runs all over SE Colorado. I pretty much just drove everywhere I could on my way to my brother's house. I had no specific destinations, nor did I even write down the places I went. It was pretty fun just driving wherever I wanted. Here are a bunch of random pics.

Got some fishing in one of the days with my brother. Fishing sucked but with these views who cares.

Thanks man. I prefer clean and functional add ons and mods over purely aesthetic stuff. Well...mostly anyway. I still have a couple future plans for the truck but not much.
