Yep I have you show up they’ll take the keys either give you a loaner car or you’ll be stuck there all day or need to get a ride depending on what’s being done. My warrenty experience was terrible hope you don’t have to deal with the same.

I have, the Taco to Round Rock, and the Tundra to Don Ringler in Temple. Mixed bag of results for both.

May just need u-joints greased or may be the rear carrier. Fluid film would probably fix the squeak if it’s your leafs an the kazoo thing I need to get fixed also.

Well, it was to fix a scratch on the back bumper of a brand new truck, and the runaround I got was a bit much. The body shop manager wanted to paint the piece that had the scratch, which is plastic, and I told the sales manager I was working with that that approach was nuts, and wouldn't be happening to my vehicle. Evidently, the body shop guy has been working there since dirt was a new thing, and the sales manager didn't want to push it with him. When I mentioned that it was easy enough for me to contact the actual Don Ringler, he talked to the body shop guy again, who then realized what part was in question, and said he would never try to paint that, but rather just replace it. The amount of time it took them to do the replacement is less than the time I spent getting them to see the light. Like I said, half ass is the new norm these days...

It is funny that Ringler touts loaner cars on the window sticker that was on my Tundra, but when we were discussing the bumper issue, (back when they thought I was going to agree to a paint fix), they said they didn't have loaner cars. I mentioned that they should probably stop saying they did, on every damn vehicle on their lot, if that wasn't the case, and like magic, they said they would have a loaner for me.

I'm going to take the Tundra in to Cedar Park Toyota soon for a recall on the air bag sensor, and meet the service manager. Honestly, it's a more a matter of distance than anything; Ringler is 30 minutes away, TCP is 10.
