Why does it seem like the Stealth Custom Series wheels are some of the hardest wheels to get your hands on? I get that they are trying to be "exclusive" but it seems like within the first 24 hours after they restock their wheels that they are sold out. As a company wouldn't it make more sense to just fill the need for the demand by having more wheels on hand or at least offering the customer a way to order the wheels instead of having to wait and maybe not even get the wheels. Just my midnight rant.

@SCSPerformance has addressed this. They are moving to a bigger facility and are hoping to resolve the supply issues in the months to come.

Good things come to those that wait, even when it is super sucky in the short term.

I’m giving it till spring. If I still gotta jump thru hoops or have the same chance as winning a lottery I’m moving on & buying another brand. I could just imagine trying to get a spare or a replacement.

I still lust after SCS wheels... I would've spent the money to get them if I could've got them a bit sooner... oh well I'm too impatient. I guess good things come to those who wait.

No, no it would not necessarily make sense. It’s takes a lot of capital to sit on inventory. Most companies try to reduce the inventory they sit on. It’s a tough game to manage. Especially if they are doing the manufacturing in house. More output means more capital inventory in equipment, man power, warehouse space, etc. It’s way easier said than done and not necessarily always the best move.

I agree, but at the same time if you can fill orders and not have a lot of capital then do it that way. It seems like to me that they just order say 20 sets of wheels and then when they are gone they are gone. Rather than wait till they have like 100 orders and just fill it. They wont even let people prepay for the wheels so they are guaranteed a set. So then people get tired of waiting for a chance and end up going elsewhere.

What happens if it takes 2 months to get those 100 orders? Someone is going to be pissed off. Never fails.

I would rather wait 2 months for wheels knowing that I am going to get them. Actually I ordered a set of Work wheels for my car and I had to wait 2 months to get them. I think that people would be more willing to wait to get the wheels than having to play games and wait by their phones or computer when SCS goes online with the restock of their wheels.

They're worth the wait man... I was looking at Ray 10's and was growing tired of waiting, hopped on a set of Stealth 6's in gunmetal with the machined lip. Now I actually prefer my wheels over the Ray's....

But anyway anytime I park the truck I have to look back and just smile because it looks so good. I was very close to going with some Method's instead. It's worth the pain in the ass to get them. I agree though I hope they figure out their supply issues because it's bad business to keep going about things the way they have.

Just PM Vin and ask to be on the list for the next run of the wheel you want. Once he had my name, he sent me a PM or an email about a month later when they were ready to ship.

I still had to wait, but I didn't have to fight the masses on his site.

They get them shipped by the container load from their manufacturer. I think you are underestimating the cost and logistics.

FWIW, many have suggested a preorder option (shit, I was even willing to pay more to preorder) but it's not something they want to do.

I ended up setting an alarm and getting a set of 5 wheels from them that have been sitting in boxes in the garage for 6 months now waiting to get a fresh set of tires mounted.

I got lucky yesterday and snagged a set of gunmetal ray 10s. Not too long after that they were gone. Seemed like the 16” wheels lasted the longest. Their Facebook page will post the exact time they will go on sale and what will be available.
