I paid $70 for my two fronts in Phoenix. 20%, lifetime warranty, matches the rears well. Unless you're looking for some super stealthy crazy limo tint or want to hide bodies in the back seat, just keep it simple. If that $80 shop has good reviews, I'd just go for it. What's the worst that could happen? It looks bad in 8 years, and you spend another $80 to redo it? Still cheaper than 'top of the line' stuff.

Are the tacos tinted from the factory or "somebody" does it locally? Mine came tinted when I got it, front is a bit less than the back windows.
How hard is to remove F/B window tint and put 10% on? Are the door panels removed to do the tinting?

I have 3M top of the line lifetime on mine.
I was on the fence about how dark to go because my last truck wasn't dark enough for me.
After they metered the OEM tint on the rear and sides, I didn't think that the reading was going to be dark enough.
So, I had them darken the OEM tint.......and match the side windows to be about 5%.
Nothing was put on the windshield.
It does look DARKER than legal ......but it is extremely nice.
The entire deal was $160 at my local shop in MD.

Ya this tint shop has been around for 20 years and it is the best product they sale. Cuts out UV and significant heat reduction. I wasnt pleased with the price but wasnt using a fly by tint shop. Other options were 450$
