Step bumper trailer ball

    2017 base Tacoma
    just purchased 2017 base Tacoma 2.7 and want to put ball on the top of the bumper. There is a hole under their bumper, but no pop out to the hole. Has anyone experienced this, and if so did you drill hole through the plastic so the ball would fit? If ball is placed on bumper would it be too high to accommodate a trailer for hauling riding mower?
