    I know 315 = 35 inch tires; what size is 305, 285, 265? Thanks for replying:)

    315 is tire width, not height. Height is determined by the aspect ratio, wheel size and tire width. Use this.

    what are your guys opinion on 285 or 275 or 265 70/17 on a 6 inch lift?

    thinking of going small and trying to save a little bit on mpg, maybe .5 mpg haha :)

    Smaller tires on a 6" will make the truck look like a big ass roller skate.

    IMO, they would look ridiculous! I'm running 35's on 3" of lift and I can still get decent MPGs....18-19 on the highway!
