I have a 06 Trd sport. I’m planning to add a 2” lift to it and bigger tires. I wanted to increase the tire size to 285/75. This size won’t accomodate the factory wheels so I’ll need to also add some new wheels. My current offset is +30mm. What wheel offset should I be looking for? I don’t want to be sticking way out past the body. TIA

Tks, I was hoping not having to do major trimming. But with a 2” lift and a wheel with a -10mm offset seams to be not enough for 285:75 without trimming wheel wells. May just down size to a 275/ 75 instead. Tks again

This that and the other thing.
to run 285/75/16 you want rims with 4.5'' of Back Spacing. u could get away with 4.75'' but ur cutting it close, and depending on how aggressive of a tire u run u will be super close to the UCA's. I would aim for 4.5'' of BS or less. 4.5 will make ur wheel stick out roughly the same as 1.25 wheel spacers, just a touch past the flares but nothing crazy. the offset to get 4.5 BS depends on how wide of a rim u are getting, on a 8'' wide rim u want 0mm offset or greater, on a 9'' wide rim -12mm offset or greater. on those two examples, the greater the offset the less the BS the more the wheel will stick out
