Hey y'all! Any one put a light bar behind their stock OR grill? Just wondering how the light shines through these grills. And how easy the install is. Pics would be awesome!

Behind the grille or in the 30” space right below it that just happens to look like it was made specifically for a 30” light bar?

Behind the main grill. I'm going to be installing an after market bumper so that under grill will be gone.

I have a single row 30” and it does pretty good overall, gives me good light at about 200-250 yards. Definitely enough to let me see what’s coming up. I don’t use it super often but when I do it is nice to have.

If it's behind the grill or the lower valance area how do you get to it to clean off the mud, dirt, road grime and such, would think it's a pia to clean behind there.

Na that parts easy can just reach hand down between it i never had a problem but OP is specifically asking about behind upper grille not the lower bumper mounts. He doesnt have that option like alot of people

I have the Rago Fabrication mounts and a single row 30 or 32” bar. It is definitely not a show bar, it works very well.

I used the SDHQ bracket with some not so expensive 32 inch Amazon bars. All and all it fit pretty good. I had to slot the SDHQ brackets to accommodate my lights, from my understanding they are designed for Baja designs and Rigid lights. I just couldn’t justify the price of those lights .

CaliRaised LED combo bar behind the grill.
This is headlights vs LED bar.
