I'm in the marker for sliders as well. I really like the RCI ones, for you guys that have the RCI with top plates did you go with the standard 20 degree angle or the 5 degree?

I do. I haven't yet been in a situation where I need them, but they're great for preventing door dings.

Thanks for you reply. After thinking about it for awhile I think i'm going to order the 5 degree sliders because i believe that will suit me needs better. If they end up being to low and the 20 degree versions make more sense I can just cut the bottom of the welds on the tube and rotate the sliders up 5-10 degrees and then re-weld. Luckily I'm a welder by trade! Thought about making a set of sliders, but the amount of time doing the design and build will be much too intensive. Also the Rci Sliders have such a great look with that dimples surface on the top plates! I'll post mine when they arrive!

Save yourself gobs of money and time, go with RCI. Mobtown = up to 12 weeks lead times maybe more if group buys are going on. I got my RCI sliders in 4 weeks time, even during the holidays. Mobtowns sliders are a great looking product but I only have experience with RCI here in Colorado. RCI is beefy well built stuff across all vehicles. Support local and save money on shipping. They are awesome people go RCI.

I did this as well. Plus Fort Collins has plenty of breweries and goodies to check out so you can make a great day out of it.
