We do not do an aluminum version of this bumper, just the steel.

About to order one of these, question is with swing arm or without. Curious how difficult it is to take on and off the swing arm? Is it just a matter of popping the bolt and sliding out?

I am more interested in the swing arm for the table/rack than the relocation of my spare. Would like to keep easy rear entry without the swing arm when around town and throw on the swing arm when I hit the trail.

As long as you have someone to help you it’s pretty easy to take the arm off. You’re going to like the table, I regret not getting it with mine. @c4farication, anyway to add it after the fact?

Ya I got rigid front fogs but still when it came to any other lighting option Baja is the one. The Baja front led bar that I got from C4 is bright as hell. On those dark trails its nice to have the best. I will say the rigid front fogs are also really bright. Had rigid on my jk and was happy but deep research on the Baja LED's and their customer service is fantastic.PSX_20171228_143812.jpg

Anyone want to comment on how the BSM and parking sonar works with this bumper? Same as stock? Or have you seen any loss in performance?

Sometimes I get the light when there is nothing there. It’s toucht and just requires a little bit of adjusting to make it work fine. Mine isn’t working at all now but I’m sure that’s another issue, lol

Thanks. I am contemplating whether to get this or just scrap the whole system and get the bumper I want instead.

The swing arm can be removed pretty easily by taking out the 3/4" bolt on the pivot side, then the entire arm comes off.

No plans for any sales on that product.

The swing arm cannot be added later. We weld on the mounting brackets and adjust the swing arm here at the shop when the entire bumper is built.

We have been extremely happy with Baja Designs products. Definitely a superior product and customer service to Rigid.

The bumper takes some adjusting sometimes to get the sensors in the correct position to work properly, but so far most people have reported back very minimal issues.
If you decide to scrap the whole BSM system, then our High-Clearance rear bumper would be a great option for you!

Oh ok, the table would be tricky to add. We weld in a few pieces for the table to attach to and for it to close against. Your swing arm would not have any of those pieces on it right now.

Any update on the Jerry Can holder accommodating Sceptre or NATO jugs?

I have a different after market bumper that was supposed to work with my BSM, it doesn't. Toyota wants to charge $400 to re-calibrate and they say it could come out of calibration at any time because of mud or any debris. I am interested to hear from anyone with this bumper if they had a similar experience. Also, does anyone know if it is possible to calibrate the BSM yourself?

I already wanted the c4 Lopro front bumper now I find out they make this. Awesome. It helps finding 1 company that makes all the parts you want when you live in Hawaii. Got to go check and see if they have dclb sliders.

@C4 Fabrication how much does this bumper weigh? Ever plan on an aluminum option?

Is the BSM bumper no longer offered with the swingarm/table/jerrycans option?

I just purchased a PRO and was in the market for a BSM enabled rear bumper. C4 seems to be the only one that looks good. Did the BSM sensors work first time or did the system throw any error codes?
