I hate that excuse, "I didn't see you" like OK well I was there so, whole lotta good that does... ...I mean, you're driving so your primary role is basically fucking seeing.

Sorry, I see way too many people on their phones while driving. It's infuriating. The other day, I kid you not, saw a lady driving holding her cell phone both hands in the center of her steering wheel watching what looked like a lecture with 2 infants in the backseat. Like, good on you for trying to make a better life but how about focusing on just driving your two innocent children safely.

My guess is from the impact on the passenger side it just completely pushed the rear up. Looks like I might have a cracked bed. My body shop guy said they’d put the money towards a new wheel though so I’m happy about that, in case anyone wants a spare the one that got scratched will be going up for sale.

Didn’t realize how bent the bed was until now.

Took into the body shop, they estimated nine at $4,000 just on what it looks like now. They aid there could be a cracked bed, or the actual carrying portion of the “bed”. And the other panels may need replacing along with the tail gate. Just waiting on the other guys insurance to call me with a claim number to get her fixed up and back to normal!

Anyway you can just make sure the bed is all good and get everything painted and straight. Don't put any tail lights in it, don't fix bumper only side portion, pretty much fix things that are no easy to do yourself. Then from there get paid and the rest and do the other stuff yourself. Like rear bumper and tail lights all aftermarket. Should make a little bit off of it. Glad your ok, I got ran over on my motorcycle (zx10r) 2 years ago and the person literally said they didn't see me, I was stopped at a stop light... lol

It's that first scratch that haunts you. I feel for you as it just never "feels the same".
