It's supposed to be HUGE this year - lots more vendors. I wanna get my ticket as soon as possible - just in case.

One more step to pick away at that list. The leafs are a little flat due to how I parked, but it's still making me consider adding a leaf to the dakars

I've already been thinking about adding the extra leaf for the eventual rear bumper. Its cheap and I wouldnt mind a little more lift and support.

    Similar thing happened to me.

I had a long week, really long week, was overcome with fatigue, sore muscles, wet, flat out exhausted. I wanted to sleep for a week but knew that i had to eat SOMETHING. It was 9pm friday night, full weekend ahead and didnt want to waste it away miserble and hungry. By 10pm i was starting to get in the zone where youre so hungry that youre not hungry more, still i couldnt resist. Hopped in my truck and drove to the nearest Jack In the Box not employed by moronic teens, yea, they exist. I knew what i wanted, the grilled chicken club on sourdough with straight fries instead of curly, large diet coke. I wait in line, doesnt appear its moving at all, but i keep waiting. Finally i get to the ordering speaker, i say i want the grilled chicken club on sourdough, straight fries and a large diet coke. The voice says back, you want a grilled chicken club on sour dough, regular fries and a large diet coke. I say yeah. He says look at the screen make wure your order is correct, at this point im just so excited to eat, i say yeah and pull thru. I bop out to some Justin Biebs the few blocks back home, get home and lay out the food. Fkin curly fries. I find the receipt, sure enough it said curly fries. I still ate all that shit, delish.

yup, it could have turned out way worse. I'll have to put off some mods for a little longer than I was planning but thats life. You live you learn. I've got the pup trying to teach me to be more patient, not sure its working that well yet.

@trekker any tips on installing flip kit? Also thought about adding an AAL to my Dakars since I have a shell and rear bumper with tire gate? Any specific one your gonna order?

Flip was easy, you just gotta assemble the bumps and mounting plate first and in a specific order otherwise it's a pain in the ass to get the bolts/nuts tightened. Mine didn't come with any sort of instructions but its pretty straight forward. Mount the bump plates to the flip mount plates, then mount the bump stop itself to that assembly, then mount on the axle with the new u bolts and trim the excess thread to fit if you'd like. I'd get the leafs that Jason linked.

Edit: it's a pain in the ass if you stray from that order only if you lost your open ended 14mm or 9/16 wrench like I did.

Second edit: this is for the Timbren flip kit, but I assume it's similar for others.
