I was looking around at under seat subs (preferably kicker ks8) to add to my 2014 trd sport with non jbl entune touchscreen headunit. After doing some research and getting mixed answers I would like to know if I can install this sub with my exsisting head unit. I know it will fit under the seat I am more worried if it will wire to the back of the head unit. Anyone have any experience?

Yes it will work with your current radio.... You just need to run power to the battery, find a grounding point( close to the amp), get the speaker signal and find an accessory power source for remote turn on. It takes high level inputs, so you won't need a line out converter or rca cables.

    yep..
Installed one in mine but different brand. I just had to splice into the speaker outs at the radio harness. I used some scrap CAT5 as it has all the wires needed, neatly sheathed. Then a single wire spliced from radio accessory and sub for power on signal.

Hey man, I know this is a bit of an older thread but if you don't mind me asking. Were you successful in installing the sub into your Entune system? And if so, what step by step process did you take?

There is a way of doing it I just never did it. I would see if your local audio shop can do it.
