@gearcruncher ... Didn't you determine that Toyota WS wasn't synthetic and therefore it was better to run Amsoil or valvoline synthetic with the WS ratings?

So far so good in my Tacoma. Used it in the Ecoburst also.
Petroleum isn’t listed on the data sheet for this product.D6E3D4EF-FA42-4A2D-9D48-5B70A9BF4085.jpg

    LS1 swap with nitros.
I bought two quarts of Toyota WS at the dealer this week. $9/qt. Going to top off my tranny this weekend.

Is there a leak or did you add a diffeucooler? These things are like sealed units.

Same thing I did. $9/qt and purchased 2qts to top off. Will replace with Valvoline Max ATF when the time comes.

Ok that makes a little more sense... I changed my 2015 at 30k but put WS back in due to warranty. This time it will be valvoline or amsoil. I don't tow a ton, but I like to get the fluids out quickly after break in. I will get flamed for this but new parts that are wearing in make more shavings and wear as they get started, I like to get them back on fresh fluid after they are broken in. Diffs, transfer, &trans. My dad always added an extra magnet to his transmission pans, added a bigger cooler, and welded a plug for draining in his old chevy's with the 700r4. Every time he changed oil he drained what he could get out of the trans and dumped in new. Filters every 50k. We never lost a trans in 4 trucks and he swore that was why. I guess it kinda stuck. Fluids are cheap, trucks are $35k
