2017 Quicksand Tacoma TRD OR DCSB

My wife and I are looking to trade her ‘14 civic in on a new highlander and I was wondering if anyone on here had any experience with the new highlanders? Specifically the 3.5l with the 8 speed trans. Does it get advertised MPG’s? Has it been reliable? What do you find good/annoying? Any info is appreciated!
