Has anyone installed an access tonnosport tonneau cover on their second gen Tacoma. Did you experience holes weren't aligning with the ones in the bed. None of my screws go in straight if I have another in. Please help if anyone has experienced this and not gotten a fix.

    Thanks

I have an access tonneau. All the holes lined up and the bolts went in with no problem.

Mine all lined up fine too. I did leave them all loose until they were all started though. My only regret it that I didn't replace the bolts with stainless.

Yeah I'm thinking I may have to adjust my through holes and get stainless. I tried leaving them loose and with only a few threads in they are all on off angles and wouldn't be able to get tightened

Any idea the thread of the holes/bolt I'll need? Doesn't say in the instructions for the cover.

Don't know if you read the thread I linked, but mine, as well as others had similar issues with lining the bolts up. There are some good ideas/methods to use when installing the brackets, in that thread.

Yeah I did thanks. Going to do what most of them said worked and adjust the hole size, fingers crossed that's good enough.

Mine's been on the truck for 12 years now, and it's held up great.
