I designed it fit 33's just snug up to the closed tailgate. I'd have to see how 35's sit with the design as is, worst case the tubes would just need to be moved back towards the cab an inch or so, definitely possible.

As mentioned before if you're willing to lose the tailgate you can spring those tires out pretty far. I've seen alot of trucks do this, but I love the stock taco tail gate look.

That’s super sick OP! Great work. I love how it looks.

I built a dual spare chase rack for my friends truck like 6 months ago.

I do too. But in the middle I would still like to be able to put my 450 or the hyper in the bed.

If we lost the two cross members that are there you can slide a bike right in, I had those for other purposes. If you're interested I could put a different version together for 35's and a clean path for a bike down the center.

Anyone interested in a Weld it Yourself version of this? I had the tubes CNC laser cut and bent. We literally welded it together in a single night nothing difficult about it.

Since I did a one off it cost me a bit of money, but if enough people drummed up interest the cost for cutting and bending would be pretty reasonable. Throwing it out there, let me know your thoughts!

I’ve ran dual spares and ended up cutting up the bed to get them to sit further down. They were 35s

    Nice bike! I had a 525 exc

I hear ya, 35's would be a bit taller I'm still rockin 33's. But I think i'd rather poke up higher than having to deal with hacking the bed any more.

    Thanks! You still ride?

With the tires taken out the tubes sit well below the top of the bedsides.

Keep in mind also for any time you need to haul something this rack is EXTREMELY simple to install and remove from the truck.

    To remove there are:
    • (4) factory bolts that go to the frame
    • (8) 1/4-20 grade 8 bolts securing the rack to the bed
One of the biggest advantages of this rack is being able to take it out and having your bed available to you. Once I find my sockets and impact it takes me 10-20 minutes to remove it, by myself. It's a lightweight single person lift.

If you're in Anaheim then you're right down the street from me. Let me know if you ever want to check it out in person.

I would be interested in a weld it together kit that can fit 2 35s and have a dirtbike or motorcycle in the middle.

35" tire version in the works. Plenty of room for the moto down the middle!

Why have them near the tailgate vs up on top of the wheel wells almost against the back glass?
