hello gents, i recently got my 1st truck.
    its a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 2DR 2WD 2.4L, 33k miles, 1 owner
picked out a small truck just to haul my bikes around and its still great on gas.

clean as a whistle and i got it for a great price.

im just looking to make a VERY CLEAN/SIMPLE DailyDriver, prefer to use OEM parts where needed, ive been junkyard diving to get some small bits for it.

    QUESTION:
I RECENTLY PUT LARGER WHEELS/TIRES ON THE TRUCK :), now the front sits lower, i just want it to look even. It never goes off road, maybe a gravel road at best.
-are bilstein 5100's up front only the most simple solution? rear too?
-are just the leveler spacer things enough up front?
-is there a simple more elegant solution just to get it level/ride decent

Am i missing any of the "must-do" free/cheap mods for the 2.4L?

excuse the noob question, new to trucks.

*I know there are threads on this, but they dont have much info on the 2.4L, 2WD regular cab(found out the hard way running board fitment isnt the same)
and i cant decipher through all the different models/vagueness of some of the replies.

so far the mods i have done from stock are:
    -American Racing AR23 15x7 Machine Finish Wheels/Michelin MS/2
    -WeatherTech DigitalFit FloorMats
    -WeatherTech WindowGuards
    -AWS Front BugShield/Deflector
    -TruXedo LowPro BedCover
-OEM Toyota BedExtender w/brackets NIB (uninstalled)
    -RhinoLiner Bed spray
    -OEM "TRD Sport" Decal Kit
-OEM Toyota Logo off a wrecked 07 taco on tailgate
-OEM dash/clock unit off a 03 double cab
-OEM center console out of a 03 double cab (gray)
-OEM radio with CD player (uninstalled)
-OEM Split seats (sold the bench)
    -OEM pop-out cigg lighter
    -Bull Bar
    -Sylvania Ultrastar H4 headlight bulbs
    -3M Window Tint (23% sides, 10% rear)
    -3M BlindSpot Mirrors
    -3m Door molding (uninstalled)
    -RZ's Custom Covers Dash cover
-LilyAutoGlass sliding OEM style rear window (uninstalled)

Welcome! Truck looks sharp! Are you wanting to lower the rear, or raise the front to get it level?

Nice truck RC Devil! I have actually had the same identical truck but in silver since 2006! Sadly, I didn't really have the funds to do any mods. Now that I have gotten out of college and bought another daily driver (2006 4 door 4wd silverado) and have added several mods to it, I am thinking about updating my older ride as well... I was wondering if you ever added those shims and how it turned out? I have always wanted to level it out but wasn't sure if it was worth doing. I plan on getting tint added later this week and I think I like the 25% on the sides and the 10% on the rear. Any new mods you have done in the mean time I would like to hear about too! Thanks, Miles.

Yea i put the shims, the front end is a bit bouncy now but it looks better at least (not sitting low in the front). I probably should have swapped the springs too; however it doesnt affect the vehicle adversely.

I actually have an already tinted OEM Toyota back glass, (its the one in my pic above) I would sell. Its already boxed and ready to ship, let me know. Id sell it for $225+shipping

Also, could you post a pic of the truck leveled, and what size tires did put on?

no i had a shop do it, it was like 2hrs shop labor.

this was after it was leveled, it was "bouncy" in the front after the shims but it helped when i had something heavy in the bed.

I forgot the tire size, i think it was 235 but im not sure
