So, I'm down to three choices...and am having a hard time deciding.

Wanting to take advantage of DT President's Day sale (b/t $295 and $320 off)...

This is the equivalent of "Phoning A Friend" when you don't know the answer.

    Coopers are LT and Falken's P-rated...235/75R15 on a 2wd '07 4 banger.

    Here's the cost comparison:

What do y'all think I should go with...?

Just for looks or are you offroading a lot? Heavy tires on a 4cyl could hurt mpg if you care about that. My .02

Mostly (95%+) on road...but for the <5% offroad I don't want to deal with flats (even though we have a plug kit and compressor).

Tire weight is a concern...Weights are 38, 37 and 36 for KO2s, Coop LTs and Falken, respectively. Not too much of a difference.

I'm going to be dropping about 9-10 a wheel going from OEM steelies to alloy.

I do like the look of the KO2 best and it looks the most rugged...that is a factor. Thank you for your input.

I hear good things about them, too...sidebiter shoulder lugs are kind of interesting. Sounds like a good all around performer in dry, wet, snow, fairly quiet...low price.

I’ve had the Falkens on for the past 4000 miles so far so good. KO2s are great too but 300 dollars better I doubt it. Hear good things about the Cooper just don’t like the mild mannered look.

Just a note on the enduros. I ordered them last week and they rubbed on my calipers. Make sure you check it out. I was really disappointed too, I love those wheels. Was even contemplating trying to grind the calipers down a bit to get them to fit.

On the tires, the coopers are pretty good. Im about to replace a set. 60,000 miles on them and not even close to the safety bars

    That's surprising about the Enduros...on the 2nd Gen 5 lug thread...one dude said his 15 x7s fit no problem...hmmm.

How close were they to fitting? You've got 2nd gen 6 lug? What size wheel?

Thanks for the feedback on the Coopers...LT or P-rated? I actually like the way those look. Clean, modern but not boring sidewall design. Everytime I look at a picture of them the word "snazzy" comes to mind!

I read the P-rated ones wear really fast...that's why I'm looking at LTs.

I voted for the falkens. I am running them in 265/75/16 and they are great. About 2500 miles on them so far. I was gonna say thy are great in snow but I’m guessing that doesn’t matter for you in Phoenix haha.

Good to hear on the Falkens...Actually, it does matter...7,000'-9,000' elevations are only 140 miles north of Phoenix in Flagstaff, Arizona. We lived there for five years and go back occasionally. It's in the middle of the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest on the continent...it ain't all desert round here contrary to popular belief!

It was the 16x8 6 lug. The boys at DT didn't even realize it until I went out there to see how one looked mounted. Tire wouldn't even spin. It really sucks because they looked amazing, especially wrapped in my new duratracs.

I have the LT. Agree on the looks, actually quite aggressive looking when new. They have handled great in a lot of conditions. Snow, rain, mud, dirt. Great tire for the price. I could probably hang on to them for another 5-10k, but I also took advantage of the DT rebate deal.

Haha in that case I’d definitely go falkens. Awesome snow traction offroad and on road.

I had KO2s on my first gen 4cyl Ac prerunner. They looked great but made my truck feel loose. Didn’t put them on my 2nd gen.

Too bad on the Enduros...Nice looking wheel. I was looking at the AR23 (which most places say won't fit) and the XD300 Pulley. I'm a bit torn on the Enduro vs. Pulley look...

Came with the Bridgestones. Then went with Michelin LTX in Summer and Wrangler Duratrac in the winter. Just ordered Continental terrain contact AT and will be running them winter and summer. Posted the whole story here in wheels and tires today.
