I feel like this is a stupid question, but is there any easy access places in the Madison/ Estill area that I can get the truck muddy? My school is having a muddy truck contest and the only place I can think of is the wildlife area in Waco, but not sure about that.

Don't think it's a stoopid question, and is the right place to ask it IMHO.

It's like asking a bunch of gypsies what's the best way to get your wallet lifted. Lads here know where to get muddy...I'm not from there, so can't help but I have faith in the KY threads.

Let us know how you make out in the contest....:canada:

Not sure where you're at honestly. Land Between the Lakes is West, Red River is Central, Rush Off Road is East. With multiple places in between.

    Don't get stuck!

Not a dumb question. Please do not offroad at the WMA if that's what you're referring to around Waco.

The only place I know off the top of my head is Barker Branch Rd: 37.716365, -83.721613. This road connects to a lot of trails in Red River Gorge. There are some nasty mud holes back there so proceed with caution!

Well I made a little bit of progress today. Need new bolts after all for my cab mounts so I can put in the energy suspension bushings. Got the Bilsteins on the front along with the low profile bumpstops. Ill be excited to check out my new range of motion in the front. Gained about 1” of droop and about 2.5” of up travel. Not sure if you guys can tell the new shocks from the old in this pic :rofl::rofl:

Who wants to go wheeling this morning? Gonna rain but it's already extremely muddy so rain wont make that much difference. Will be hitting some old power line right-of-ways in southern Indiana.

No problem with mud just clean it up after...Dont see the point in leaving stank mud in/on the truck. I HATE working on dirty shit.

Where we're going is mostly rock. Reminds me of Black Mountain...

Heavy overcast turned to steady rain.

Steady rain turned to hard rain.

Hard rain turned to freezing rain.

    Freezing rain turned to sleet

Sleet turned to huge wet snow flakes.

Huge wet snow flakes turned to white ground.

Temp went from 41 when we started to 30 whn we made it back to the gravel road.

XJ has BFG Mall Terrains. = Winch fest.

Fun wore off and we returned home
