I have that exact truck basically on order right now for that price out the door. Is there something you don't like about it? Or just felt the need for the jeep?

 

Nothing bothers me about it necessarily. I just know Jeeps. I’ve had about 10 of them, compared to just 2 Toyotas over the years. I think in the back of my mind, I just know I will like the Jeep in the longrun. Congrats on your purchase. Sounds like you got the deal of the century

Where did you order your Tacoma?

 

@Mr.Franko Toyota of Wooster in Ohio. I put a qoute out to about 8 dealerships and they came in from 52 to 39990. Which was Wooster.

I'm still concerned about getting it since it's kind of rare.

 

So you don’t have it on order then? I didn’t think it was possible for you to get this price on a new one, unless maybe you qualify for the military rebate and finance through Toyota Financial.

 

No I do have it on order. Deposit down. Waiting for toyota.

I've just never had to look for this rare of a vehicle. Last week I couldn't even build one in this color with a MT in my area on the website.

 

I've found that dealerships are more willing to negotiate on Taco Pros more so than the other two (Tundra/4runner) so I don't doubt you'll get it.

 

That's good to hear. I'm just nervous they won't make another one or they won't be able to allocate one with what I want exactly.

 

A 2017 just sold for the exact same amount with 8000 miles on it. Come get it while you can! $42K

That’s because no truck existed in your area with that color and MT. The “build” website only lets you “build” a truck that is actually on a dealer lot or is in transport to a dealer in your region (by zip code when you enter it into the website).

It’s a sales tool, not an actual build website.

You couldn’t build a standard, white, 4 cylinder access cab if it wasn’t available for purchase in whatever distance they use from your zip code, when obviously that trucks exists in high numbers. You could change the color to black and find it.

Just means there isn’t a white truck sitting around already.

I just really want this truck.

If I had not put the deposit down already I may have been on my way to SC for the OP truck.
