I'm about 80% done

Thought I'd share with this group. I'm love sim racing so I got the 4playracing 80/20 sim rig with triple monitor stand. This thing was confusing at first but once you figure it out it's pretty cool how so this goes together. Infinitely adjustable and very stout.

I have to move my monitors over to the stand then do cable management and then go find a 4th monitor do I can work and play fps games.

Very cool. What's your wheel/pedal setup and what Sims are you playing?

I thought about doing the 80/20 but will probably go with tubing. Havn't ran any Sims in a while but it comes and goes when I can find time from other hobbies.

 

Fantec GT style pedal setup, it's such a huge step from the stock thrustmaster pedals.

I play project cars 2 and assetto corsa

 

I run the Fanatec Porsche GT3 RS wheel and V2 pedals on their wheel stand and shitty plastic shifters. Good stuff.

I don't play enough to build or buy a cockpit.
Assetto Corsa and Pcars as well.

 

Downloading Assetto Corsa Competizion.
Wont get to try it till the weekend, but I anticipate some seat time on saturday to
see what all the hype is about.

 

i need to get that. I usually dont play much during the summer months, fall/winter is when I ramp up my pc gaming LOL

Edit: I'm not really a fan of gt2/3 or the F1 stuff. I like to race the old factory stuff like the alphas, Ferraris, Porsches. And the newer muscle cars.

 

I can actually play on my lappy for portable racing when I travel. And thats an old ass laptop. 4k.

Played a little bit tonight. Tried Competizion but wasn't feeling it. They have alot of work to do yet.
Didn't feel like dragging the 43" 1080 or the 60" 4k over to the desk....so stuck with the 27" 2k monitor. AC still is fun but it's just still to much to setup and drag the wheelsrand over. Someday I'll have a setup where I can just turn the wheel and, sit down and play.

 

How did the rig turnout?

 

That is a sick setup. Wish I had a place for something like that.
