    Haven’t tried but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you removed the rear panel as well.

    Will you guys be adding any sort or branding to the sides of the camper? I also agree and think having the plain smooth sides need something on them, even if it’s a tiny “GFC” logo. Similar to what the habitats have.

    So what number are you??? I think the highest I’ve seen was 67 or 68 maybe? Wondering how many of those Expo guys on that other forum are getting onto these... to be fair, that’s where i saw it first.

    I'm number 90, according to my confirmation email. Having the ability to pay my invoice early makes it a little easier to sleep knowing I can better my odds of receiving mine by July!

    @wileydavis Pardon me if this has already been covered, but will the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen access cab GFC models both be the same? I have a 2013, but someday may upgrade...

    And where was the guy who said he could get us from Bozeman to Yellowstone without touching pavement?

    If I weren’t in the middle of moving, I’d have made my deposit already. Cannot wait to see these in the wild. Really looking forward to weatherproof storage, standing room, and quick deployment that can also handle the level of abuse my truck seems to enjoy.

    When does the design work for the first gen trucks start?

    It's not too bad. The nice thing is this tent sounds like it'll fair better in the warmer temps

    Wiley, quick question. I’m finalizing a lighting order for my truck, and I’m curious will there be, or is there already a good way to mount rear Aux lighting on the GFC? I’m thinking a set of RIGID cubes on the back corners to help with backing up. Will you have brackets, and or a good way to run wiring for rear lights? Thanks

    @wileydavis

    Any chance y’all will just do a shell based off your space frame without the tent?

    Just the shell so a person could mount their existing RTT would be awesome. I love your design but not the over hang above the cab.

    Look into the Rigid Ignite diffused lights part number 20641 I think. These little suckers are what a lot of people are using on bumpers/etc as back up lights, insanely bright.

    We do actually have plans for a topper-only version. I am curious though what the advantage would be in mounting an RTT to the top vs the overhang, as it would be less aerodynamic (most RTTs on a topper are way taller than the GFC overhang) and you'd lose the pass-through. Just curious what the disadvantage is.

    We'll be selling extra T-nuts for the utility track, so you could bolt up a light pretty much anywhere on the tent frame.

    I see where you are coming from.
    My main reasoning is I already have a layout on my Prinsu rack that works well for stowing part of my gear and a solar panel that acts as a wind dam for my RTT. As far as the pass through again I would have to redo my bed storage and the way I lay out my gear in the bed when traveling.

    Currently running a cab height bed rack on my truck but I like the design of your shell. The dry storage would be a great thing to have. As opposed to trying to close in my tube bed rack.
