Sway bar end links for sure. Replaced mine and certainly noticed the difference. Cheap and not too difficult.

I just bought a 2001 2RZ 2wd with 261k. She idles high and has an exhaust leak. I will be taking out the TB and IAC to clean soon. Also I'll be replacing the spark plugs and doing an oil change to get rid of the FRAM filter. I put some Seafoam in the tank, oil, and vacuum line. I barely got any smoke out the tailpipe.

2004, 268K still going strong. Just picked up a set of OEM 2017 rims and tires.

I'm getting suspicious of my front end suspension components. Not really looking forward to tackling that job.

I just went through my entire front end and replaced almost everything. If you have any questions lemme know. I ended up buying quite a few tools in the process and it took a lot of evenings after work to do it. If I had second car or devoted an entire weekend it would have gone quicker but I spent a lot of time waiting and ordering parts and replacing thing after thing

    I love you.

Seriously, I'll hit you up with questions at some point. My little buggy is rolling on original suspension parts at 243k. It's definitely given me good service, but I'm beginning to notice some fatigue. Thanks, man!

One of my sway bar end links is bad/loose. Gives me a nice thunk every so often - should I just replace it with the factory one? On Toyota parts it shows its about an 80$ part (with dealer markup i imagine). My friend is a mechanic - and can most likely swap this for me. Should i have them look at anything else while Im down there? I have about 179k miles on my 2001. Should I do both at once or nah? Any suggestions would be great, thanks all!

~245000 here, 3 trips across the US coast to coast, plenty of time in the snow and dirt. Only normal maintenance items, clutch master/slave cylinders but still on the original clutch, an axle oil seal, entire suspension (for a ~2" lift at ~175k mi), brake rotors (OEMs kept getting runnout, EBC slotted/dimpled at ~60k and never had to bother them since), and about to do the front-diff needle bearing->bushing swap.
