I discovered today that I'll be needing to remove mine soon and sand them down real good, start from the beginning. There's a pretty good bit of rust all over the bottoms and even some on the frame from hitting rocks. All surface rust it looks like, but still gonna have to do something about it.

So I've always been a BF Goodrich All Terrain guy. Looking at some tires I cam across some Falken Wild Peak tires that
look pretty good. Any of you Southeast peeps have them on your Tacoma's? If yes, do you like them?

I know this doesn't help much, but I'm seriously debating getting those in the next week or two. It's between those and general grabber at2s.. which look very similar to the BFG AT

@T4RH33L @HrBrad8 @diverdale and several others have them. I have them as 'street' tires with bfg km2 as offroad tires.
They're packed with technology lol read that thread.

Yeah I stumbled onto the Wild Peak thread. Like I said earlier I've always been a BF Goodrich All Terrain guy.
Pics look good but I prefer to see them in person and hear personal experiences with them. Maybe I can find a shop
in Charleston that has some in stock so I can visually check them out. :burnrubber:

I run them in E rated 285/75/16s. Love em. Only issue I’ve ever had was when I was in the Sierras and got multiple porcupine quills lodged in my sidewalls. I got a bitchin deal on mine at only $130 a tire a while back. Haven’t seen the deal since, but they tend to be cheaper than other tires

Haha no porcupines were injured this time. Just their leftover quills all over the hill I was going up

Damn, my only experience with porcupines is seeing them in the trees which is a sight to behold that and seeing them all puffed up running away. I would of never thought they were that sharp or hard enough to stick through a sidewall of a tire.

Not really trouble. Making the trek down to Charleston tomorrow to swap lights with @Bubbles and didn’t know if anybody wanted to grab lunch or need me to bring anything back.
