We are constantly looking for ways to make our products Brighter, Bolder, Better and have recently updated the LED in the S8 to a higher output than before. Unfortunately due to it's slim profile we can't put the OnX6 Hi-Power LEDs without causing potential heat issues. We will continue to upgrade our products as the latest and greatest becomes available and is tested :D

Looking to by some s2 flush mounts for my rear bumper. Planning to run them to my switch pro. Do I get the flush mount back up kit or just 2 individual s2 flush mounts. Also do I need a harnes to connect each of them if I get the individuals? Thanks.

I got the "backup kit" with wiring included (link), to fit in the optional cutouts for a Mobtown bumper, so I'm also interested to see how these get mounted up and wired in. Ideally, I'd like to have a switch that's independent but in series to the backup circuit, so I can also use them as work lights.

This looks like an awesome system and I will be very interested in purchasing one. I would prefer the S8 form factor so that it could be installed between the bumper and grill. I do not have a 30" light bar installed between the grill and bumper because it cuts off all of the air flow to the transmission fluid cooler. Summertime towing in Florida can cause the transmission temps to rise very quickly so the 10" installed there would still give some air flow there. Hopefully, you can come out with the S8 version also.

@bajadesigns I’m looking to get flush mount S2 pros (pair) for my new bumper. For rear back up lights do you recommend the work/scene or the wide cornering? Thanks.

Thanks for posting up! Since you are using the Switch Pros power panel you won't have to use the wiring found in our Flush Mount Backup Kits. You can either cut-out what you don't need or buy the individual lights and wire yourself. If you buy the individual lights here is my recommendation on the wiring:

    - Backup Harness, Extension (QTY:2)
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/S2-Squadron-Rear-Backup-Extension-12.asp

    - 55" Splitter, 2-Pin
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/squadron-s2-wire-harness-splitter-55-universal.asp

All you have to do is run the Positive (+) and Negative (-) directly to your Switch Pros! No relays, fuses, or wiring mess under the hood.

Thanks for your input! We appreciate the feedback. As of now we don't plan on releasing an S8 version but don't be surprised if the Laser Chips make it in more housings down the road. As the technology improves and pricing gets a little bit cheaper we will be expanding more into other laser products.

    Stay tuned!

We'd recommend Wide Cornering for the rear bumper. It will offer more usable light over Work/Scene in that position. If the lights were mounted up high and aiming down on an area we'd recommend Work/Scene instead.

Just purchased squadron sport with wide cornering. I understand it’s the most street friendly. But for comparison purposes which set would get flashed by other vehicles more often on the streets? Pro’s with wide cornering lense or sports with driving combo lense?

I’m running the pros for my fogs and have them dimmed with the switch pro for street driving to 50% it really doesn’t matter which lens you run the pros are blindingly bright over the sports at full power.

The Squadron Pros in any pattern will be blinding to oncoming traffic. You would need to dim them to 50% output or lower for a street-friendly setup.

So I just got my squadron sport wc in clear. Shipping was fast I ordered them Monday and got them Wednesday I took my time with the install and only took me about an hour. I prefer removing the grill for easy access to fogs. I also didn’t need to drill additional hole for second screw or some people used tie wraps. I tested them out on terrible roads here and they held firm without bouncing or moving. First impressions are Wow! These little things put out some serious light. They are so good I prefer driving with them over my led low beams. Super satisfied with this purchase.

Edit: here’s some pics and I did add that additional self drilling screw for a more secure fit on the bracket.
