Useless Upgrade

You know why for Adidas the track suit stripes are vertical, but the shoe stripes are diagonal?

Greatest thread ever. Without looking I’d guess 90% of my build is useless

 

It's so interesting what some folks love and some folks hate. I removed all TRD logos from my truck and see people adding as many as they can. I went 4x4 Sport for the price (and I don't climb rocks with my truck) but my first thought when I saw the scoop was "I bet I could throw a light in that thing". People in here hate on the scoops and light bars. I hope nobody is driving a Sport thinking they look like their scoop is actually useful, I just think it looks cool. I know most folks say they paid for the Limited because of the leather seats and audio but I hated the two-tone. I might've paid the $10k to not have the two-tone haha. My build is mostly me obsessing about blacking out the entire cab, I'd have my hands full in the Limited! Different strokes! If you think it looks good it aint useless!

 

@CherokeeCajun Nice to see another Sooner fan here. My pup (in my avatar) is named Boomer.

As you said "to each his own" I drive a Limited and I love it. Many will hate the black and brown interior, but I like it. Reminds me of boots and tack from when I was an Okie in OK.

Now I am displaced to FL the state of bewilderment and the elderly. Apparently, I am aging my way into acceptance here.

My "useless upgrade is OU emblem on my tailgate. I also put one on my wife's Rav4, and she loves it!!

 

I have the limited and love the interior as well. The pictures I saw made the interior leather look a lot lighter than it really is, which is what I didn't like.

Most of my upgrades are useless, but whatever, I like them lol

 

Nice! Gotta have some Sooner gear on the ride! I know I'm in the minority on the Limited interior. People love it! It's awesome how in one post someone can praise a mod and the next someone is ripping it. Makes the threads entertaining. Like I said, I have very few upgrades that are "useful" and I love it.

I have yet to mod my start screen or my screen off image.

I wish it would take GIF. I would put in a back screen with little evil looking eyes that open for a second or 2 and look around every 30 or so seconds.

 

Truth. I've had them on my '05 for a while and have hated them since installing them. When I get around researching what rear leafs to replace my tattered pair with, the 5100's are coming off!

 

Paid to unlock the secrete engine statistical screen. Later I found out it was free.

Just honk your horn with 5 short beeps, start engine, then 2 more beeps.

I mean in California, vehicle registration is already ridiculously high, and then to add in a yearly fee on top of it to keep the custom plate?
