How much are you paying for your 2018 Tacoma?

Not sure if you DCSB 4x4 but this is what I came up with on NADA.

 

I just purchased a 2018 TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4 Quicksand color with the following: A/T, tech package, TRD premium sport package, all-weather floor liner/door sill prot, d-rings, door edge guard, hood graphic, predator tube steps, TRD performance exhaust for Costco membership pricing of $39,894.00 w/o tags, taxes, etc. MSRP is $42,535.00 on this vehicle.

 

Hey all. I got a quote for a 2018 TRD Off Road DCSB 4x4 AT Silver with tech package, tonneau cover, carpet floor mats w/Door Sill protector, exhaust tip, and predator tubes for $36,441. MSRP is $39,477. With TTL and dealer fees the OTD price would be $40,488.

I'm not sure if the dealer has much wiggle room since the NADA guide tells me $36,393. What are your thoughts on this price?

Close enough. I'm in AZ $640 for tags and a $489 doc fee.

I'm torn between the silver and cement color. I can get the cement Off Road DCSB 4x4 with tech package, carpet floor mats w/Door sill protector, and exhaust tip for $35,296 before TTL.

 

Just picked up my truck yesterday. Had 5 dealers bidding. Ended up going with the dealership closest to me (less than 10 minutes away). They weren't the lowest price, but were close to the lowest, and they threw in 4 years of oil changes, tire rotations, and tire replacement (no deductible, as many tires as need replacement for any reason).

I spent a few days considering a Tundra Crew Cab to replace my 04 Tacoma SR5 access cab with replaced frame that I have had since new , but had no good reason to get something that big. Drove my friends decked out Chevy Silverado 4 door for a few days and just found the smaller truck much easier to deal with. This happened yesterday here in the northeast

No there was $2400 sales tax and 400 documentation fee. just noticed the documentation fee...that one got by me

 

Not bad at all. 9% off MSRP is pretty competitive! Congrats on the new truck and thanks for sharing!

 

Both prices are pretty darn good. I'm partial to cement. We have both a silver T4R and cement Taco, both look great.
One word of advice, skip the predator steps and get some NFabs yourself for $330. Predators are way overpriced. I'm getting my sliders for less than they want for Predators.

Had two lower offers from competing dealers, but they were further from my location (one was 45 minutes away, the other almost 2 hours), plus, as I mentioned earlier, the dealer I went with threw in a pretty sweet maintenance package: Oil changes and tire rotations every 5,000 miles with no deductible, and tire replacement; both over 4 years/60,000.

 

Thanks for the advice on the Predator tubes. The Cement already sold (of course), so I'll just wait it out and see what else comes in. I'm not in a hurry to purchase, but being on this thread isn't doing my patience any favors.

 

Since I browse here and got some great information to see what price I could get. I'll post my deal I pulled yesterday. Hopefully this is helpful for someone.

For some reason, when they did the tax, final price was $37,529.48. Feel like this was the best deal I could get. Only kicker was the interest rate, which was at 3.54%.

Contact most of the dealerships close to Sacramento Area, Bay Area and a couple north of Sacramento. Spent about a week just emailing back and forth with dealerships.

Have two dealerships that was really competitive on the price. Came down to what they have in stock and the color of the car. Picked Silver over Black.

Just picked up a white DCOR 4x2 with tech package for 33800 + tax and lic otd was 37000

 

I ended up getting a 4x4 Cement TRD sport, double cab short bed with no extra add ons. Got it for $33,800, after taxes, tags and dealership fees it was $35,086 out the door. This is in tri-city area near Richmond, Haley Toyota. I was happy, I was on a SR5 budget with a crappy trade...they matched Washington DC price quotes I got online. Was the only Cement truck in the area.

 

This is a sweet deal. I think you got it for 3-4K below invoice. I thought a got a good deal but this blows it away. I think location has something to do with it too. Here in SoCal there is almost no dealing on them. I guess because it’s such a big off road Community that they know they will sell no matter what price.

 

Queried 4 dealers in my area for two trucks sitting at the plant parking lot in SA.
