Has anyone had any success with the dealer resolving the leaf spring noise? I have a 2017 OR with around 3k miles and it sounds like the truck is twenty years old. My prior 2013 tacoma never had any issues. I'm taking it to the dealer on Tuesday to get it on record while it's still under warranty. Hopefully, they can resolve the issue because it's super annoying.

Yes, the dealer put small rubber discs between each leaf. No squeaks for few months...

Since mine resolved the issue, no squeaks for ~5000 miles.

I may ask for this TSB. Mine squeak, until I give the truck a good bath. However I kinda like the squeak. When im on a bumpy dirt road, it sounds like I have a cute little nest of birds in my back seat, it's very lovely.

Spray BOSHIELD on the brackets...... The stuff works. Highly recommended. My squeak was instantly gone and hasn’t come back. Amazon sells it for like 18 bucks

There are a couple of clamps at both ends of the leaf spring that help hold all the springs together. In between the clamp and the actual spring is a type of hard plastic. This is where the squeak comes from. Spray the clamps and the anti friction pads/discs with Boshield and your squeak should go away. What Boshield is, is a spray developed by Boeing that lubricates and prevents corrosion. Once it’s on, it dries to a waxy film that is water resistant and doesn’t attract dirt. Give it a shot.

I have a 2019 TRD OR with only 4k miles. Took it offroad once and it immediately started squeaking. Has been squeaking for a few weeks now. Is this still a known issue? I would think it'd be fixed by now.

You would think... Clean out the springs the best you can and see if you have the small, rubber discs between your springs. When I brought this squeak up to the dealer, they added these small discs between each spring and I have never had a squeak again. Of course this was done without and cost to me, so I assume there was warranty or a TSB out there

My 05 would do this each time I went on dirt roads, spray white lithium grease between the springs, it'll last forever. Only takes a couple seconds and a can will probably last as long as you have the truck.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
2016 trd off road 35K miles. 40% off road use.

stock except for thule rack for 10ft aluminum boat, toolbox at 150lb loaded. Goodrich AT K02s.

leaf springs squeaked like crazy. Upgraded to bilstein 5100 back and front as shocks were leaking from frequent washboard roads. 50 off-road trips in past 12 months.

zero squeaks from leaf springs in 2 weeks since 5100s installed.

will see how it is once truck fully loaded for springtime off road use with boat and all camping gear loaded up. That will add 500 pounds to truck bed.

Did an aal and sumo springs. Best thing I did next to 5100 in front with 887 ome springs and 5160 in rear. Helps keep the load level and drives so much better with load. I load around 1200 lbs when camping so yeah lol. Not that I were asking for advice but since u drive off road alot like me for recreation, thought I'd pass on some know6
