Morning all

 

I'm off until Thursday. Baby was awake from like 12-4 so I'm glad I'm bun going in yet lol

 

I would have to order them PTR18-35090-GR $242.78 shipped.

 

I'm in the middle of truck shopping, or sort of a little more seriously starting to look around. I have a pretty good idea of what I want, what do you guys use to find a particular vehicle? It gets pretty old pretty quick just keeping an eye on dealer websites, it seems like the online places like cars.com aren't always up to date with their inventory either, either that or cars aren't moving very quickly. What do you guys use when searching?

 

Usually just the dealership websites.

 

Problem is, around Boston, there are a shit-ton of dealerships! Some of them have good search functions, others are absolute shit. Drives me nuts when all I can filter by is 'truck'.

Dealer sites or autotrader

@DoubleRGirl you have any input?

 

I used autotrader.com then pounced when I found what I wanted. Being willing to travel can make a big difference, I had to drive down to CT.

 

I wish you had posted earlier. I'm thinking I need to find some BBQ for lunch now

I was hoping RRG might have some useful tips also.

Thanks, I forgot about autotrader to be honest. Definitely willing to travel for the purchase, but want to find something semi-local to at least test drive initially. I have my search radius set to 100 miles currently.

I just might, although I have to set my expectations fairly low for BBQ in Boston. There are some really good ones within the city limits but they are unfortunately not close to where I work. We have a place called Larry's that does alright, nothing spectacular but good eats.

If it makes you feel any better, it sounds like that's the case for quite a few of us. I'm the only one in the office so I'll get more done today than I will for the rest of the week so I guess that's a big upside!

 

Morning y'all! I was smart enough to do some work each ay this weekend so I don't have as much on my plate today.

Working from home today, so it's not too bad.

 

At least on autotrader you can search 3 different vehicles or the same vehicle in 3 different trim levels and just off off dealer only and new

 

Move out of Boston and away from the crazy people

 

I noticed that. Cars.com does the same and it is really handy. A lot of the trucks I've found or seen on dealers lots don't show up so it would seem that a lot of them don't advertise on websites like that.

 

Soon enough. I'm slowly getting further away from the insanity! Unfortunately, my job is based in the city and I do like who I work for. I'm just trying to get on projects outside of the city but haven't been overly successful lately.
