I saw a Cayanne scratch a rim on the curb in a Starbucks drivethru the other day. The struggle is real.

You almost got me excited. I thought you found a deal for the Fox pro suspension that cheap.

That is the reason I swapped Ko2 on my 4Runner Pro wheels the week I got my truck.

I sold my oem Ugly as sin OEM Taco Pro wheels to another 3rd gen owner on his forum who is doing a Fake Pro build on his poseur SR5

Just want to make sure you know this isn't the OEM TRD pro suspension on the 3rd gens. It's the bilstein shocks/eibach springs from the 2nd gen trd pro.

It’s weird how people don’t buy pro, but then gets pro stuff like grille, Fox suspension, etc.

Oh noooo... the pro suspension I got is the 2nd gen pro that they only made like small handful of. Normally this suspension runs about 1700-1800, but for some reason, they dropped it last week. Mine is on backorder right now so hopefully I get em soon.

    Definition of a hater

I was one of the first PRO owners on this forum. The amount of haters and jealousy on this forum was unbelievable

The irony was all the losers that would bash my truck on here, would PM me for my oem PRO parts for their truck :D

    Oh well

    My truck
    My money

    I love my PRO

Wouldn’t understand why people would bash on em. They are essentially the same truck, just has more luxurious interior and better suspension. Heck if I cared for music, I would have definitely gotten the pros since the come standard with the upgraded speakers (my significant other was pissed I didn’t get it lol).

Damn, you got me beat. I'm just over $3k and my truck is only 9 days old. Granted a lot of things are still on order and my wheels are about a 1/3 of that total.

Pro's weren't available in 2016, otherwise I probably would have bought one.

It was never my intention to make mine look like a Pro...I like the wheels (and I can run 285's on stock suspension), Chinese Pro Grill was cheap, and I got a sport hood when it was crashed.

    What did you get already?

In total, I have about 7-8k of mods done and about 1.5 of that is shop labor. I got my truck 3 weeks ago. After my bumper and suspensions get installed, I’m looking to spend another 1k for falken wildpeaks at3w (includes labor/install).

See my build thread in my sig, but largely: SCS wheels, Dynapro tires, SOS sliders, SOS IFS skid, HID lows, LED highs/fogs/reverse/interior, Pro grill, multiple smaller mods.

It may have been too late, but for reference in case you didn't know and had to pull another truck or jeep out from a ditch or hole that doesn't have a recovery hook/shackle at the rear like yours. A 3/4 or 1" kinetic/tow strap would fit into the hitch receiver and you just slip the pin through the loop of the rope to act as a shackle. If you need a thicker kinetic/tow rope to pull something out, you probably shouldn't use your truck =] cause it'll potentially damage your suspension, diff, frame, etc.

Great looking truck! my area didn't have cement color so don't know how it looks in person, but from pictures it looks awesome.

@ZekeR7 I did not know that, but it makes total sense. So it sounds like keeping a spare, high quality pin would be a good idea. And yes, Cement is awesome! I had to order mine, but I was dead set on that color. Quicksand is another favorite of mine.

To be perfectly honest, I just like having something in the receiver as a rear-end deterrent and the tow hook seemed more practical since i don't plan on ever towing anything. If I did need to, I could take the ball hitch from my wife's 4runner.

I only got two toyota dealers within 60 miles from me and they didn't want to special order since they had a lot on their lot =/. Oh if you ever want to get another shackle, I suggest going for rope shackles. I have both D-ring and soft rope shackles and they are amazing! It's pricey (like $60 for one), but I was glad I bought it since the very next day I was at a bar with my buddy, and when we were heading out his truck wouldnt start. We tried jumping it and I even used my emergency battery booster that I have when I am off the grid and it wouldnt start. Luckily he had a manual so I got my strap out put it in the receiver like how I mentioned, but his truck (an old ranger) didn't have an hooks or attachment points. Well, I went under the truck and saw an opening/rib on the frame that I could use my soft shackle. Best investment I ever made cause it also eliminates the chance of a metal object/shackle flying if a point gives out. I got a thin rope (I think it was 3/8"), but they were rated for 32,000lbs which can pull a dually stuck in mud.
