I have a first gen 2004 SR5 4WD with the 3.4 and manual and I'm tired of shifting at times. Yup I've gotten lazy, but I've been shifting since the 90's. I keep looking at 3rd gens as a CPO mostly access cab SR5s

Nope wouldn't even buy an 18, seeings as people are still dealing with the same shit as the 16's I have now realized Toyota doesn't give 2 fucks about people, otherwise 18's wouldn't still be coming from the factory with low trans fluid etc etc etc. I normally keep my trucks about 3 years but most likely will not be getting rid of my 2015.

Used Tacoma's are priced to high, if you want a 3rd Gen I would just buy new.

That's how I got mine. I'll that the extra warranty and 7k dollar savings for a barely broken in truck.

Yep if you can find a good deal. CPO near me is just as much as new. After 1 year it’s been a great truck.

There are 16's hitting the buy here pay here lots in this area. Now I know that's not CPO, but it's also not CPO pricing. I do find it curious that they are filtering down that far though.

I tend to keep my vehicles a long time, so I doubt I'll ever have a need to replace my truck. Unless we went down to one vehicle and I replaced it with a DC.

Even then I'd likely shop for a '13-'15. Or a Subaru.

I bought mine CPO and it was a ridiculous deal. Especially because I'd been hunting a deal on the quicksand in the MT basically all summer. My was a 2016 TRD off road with the premium tech package with 18k miles and I got it for 30,500 OTD after taxes in August. This dealer had listed it way higher for like two months and it never sold and they dropped it way down and I hopped on it. I don't think I would've done as well if it were an Automatic though. I was really set on the quicksand color and wanted a sunroof and the MT so it was like trying to find a unicorn so I was happy I finally found one.

I got my '16 OR with tech and premium for 32,800 with a 7 year 100k mile warranty. Hard to beat that.

I got a CPO Lexus. Two weeks after I got it the deodorant wore off. Previous owner was a smoker. Wasn't happy & dealer only offered an ozone treatment.

    Never again.

No. Mine was an access cab OR, and they wanted more for it used than I paid OTD new!
