I don't have any specific coordinates but there are many many spots just off the road. If you want to be further from people pick one of the many side trails, there are established spots all over the place. Do you want to camp way up the mountain or down one of the washes?

Thanks for the response! I'm looking more specifically for a spot with nice views, A nice view of the lake would be ideal. So I'm thinking up the mountain would be more of what I'm looking for?

If you get onto the west side of Four Peaks you can see Roosevelt. Not sure how well from any of the spots I've stopped at though. From Brown's peak you have a clear view but its also the tallest spot anywhere near there (top left of the four peaks).

You could camp right on Roosevelt lake or drive down to the 188 and take a trail from there up where you could see the lake. Like FR445 that joins up with the rock creek trail. I have no idea how gnarly those roads are though. Never been on them myself.

Awesome! Thanks for the info! Ill definitely make sure to check out a bunch of the side trails out there on the west side. I should probably be expecting a pretty busy weekend on that trail with it being Presidents’ Day weekend, huh?

Most likely but the majority of people go out there to ride Atv's/dirt bikes and side by sides or shoot. The people that wnana shoot dont generally drive too far in and the people on toys fly around blind corners like idiots.

I camped up near the trailhead on NYE. Could see the lake when looking one direction and the city looking the other. Got to watch all the fireworks across the valley from Fountain Hills to downtown to Tempe.
